    Get ready

    Meet us at the dive centre, complete the necessary registration and get fitted with your personal scuba equipment.

  2. 02

    Learn the basics

    Before entering the water, your instructor explains the equipment, breathing techniques, equalising, underwater communication and important safety procedures.

    Take your first breath

    Start in shallow water and practise the essential skills under direct supervision. Get comfortable breathing underwater at your own pace.

  2. 04

    Go diving

    When you're ready, continue into the sea for your guided first dive. The dive reaches a maximum depth of 6 metres.

Most guests can participate without a doctor’s certificate.

Before diving, you’ll complete the standard PADI medical questionnaire.

Some medical conditions or medications may require medical clearance.

If you have asthma, breathing or lung problems, or are unsure about your health, please contact us before booking.

If you have asthma, breathing difficulties or other lung / airway problems, please contact us before booking. Medical clearance may be required depending on your answers to the PADI medical questionnaire.
Pregnancy
Diving is not possible during pregnancy.
Flying
Leave at least 12 hours between your dive and flying.

Certain medical conditions or medications may require a doctor’s clearance.

Every participant must read the Diver Medical Questionnaire before the activity. If your answers indicate that medical clearance is required, this must be obtained before the activity.

Do not dive if you are pregnant or attempting to become pregnant.

Medical clearance cannot be arranged on the day. If required clearance cannot be provided, participation is not possible and no refund will be issued.

Before you book

No. This experience is specifically designed for complete beginners. No previous scuba diving experience or diving licence is required.

Plan approximately 3 hours for the complete experience.

Yes. Complete scuba equipment is included, as well as dive accident insurance via the dive center and the nature reserve fee.

The experience

The introductory dive reaches a maximum depth of 6 metres.

Yes. Before the guided dive, you'll learn the basics and practise essential skills in shallow water under direct supervision.

A maximum of 6 participants, accompanied by 2 diving instructors. Our instructors are certified PADI instructors.

Medical & safety

The minimum age is 10 years. Children under 13 must be accompanied in the water by a legal guardian or a supervising person. Participants under 18 require permission from a parent or legal guardian.

There must be at least 12 hours between the dive and flying.

Every participant must read the Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire before the activity. It can be completed on site, but it is important to read it beforehand.

Follow the instructions in the questionnaire. Depending on your answers, medical clearance from a doctor may be required before diving. Medical clearance cannot be arranged on the day of the activity.

No. The current Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire states that you should not dive if you are pregnant or attempting to become pregnant.

Getting here

You can either meet us at our Playa de Palma ticket shop for the 09:15 shuttle or drive directly to the Dive Center for 09:30.

Yes. Guests can meet at our ticket shop at Ctra. de l’Arenal 48, El Arenal at 09:15 and continue to the Dive Center with the shuttle.

Yes. Direct arrival is at 09:30 at Ctra. Cabo Blanco, Km 11, 07609 Cabo Regana. Please park outside the barrier.

Swimwear, a towel, dry clothes, a copy or photo of your ID / passport and drinking water.

Booking & extras

No. Underwater photos are available to purchase separately.

Guests must arrive on time. Late arrivals cannot participate and no refund will be issued.

Practical questions

At least 24 hours before the start: full refund. Less than 24 hours or no-show: no refund. If we cancel because of weather or sea conditions: alternative date or full refund.
