General Terms and Conditions – Diving and Adventure

PUNCTUALITY AND SAFETY BRIEFING

We kindly ask all participants to arrive on time. Please also allow extra time for parking.

Anyone who arrives late and misses the mandatory safety briefing will not be able to join the excursion. In this case, no refund will be issued.

CANCELLATIONS BY THE PARTICIPANT

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the start of the activity will be fully refunded.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the start or no-shows are non-refundable.

SPECIAL CANCELLATION POLICY FOR PADI COURSES

PADI courses include digital online learning content (eLearning) that is activated immediately upon payment and booking confirmation.

By completing the booking and payment, the participant expressly consents to the delivery of this digital content beginning immediately, and acknowledges that as a result they waive their statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with Art. 103(m) of the TRLGDCU.

Once online access has been assigned, cancellation of the PADI course is no longer possible and no refund can be granted.

THEORY AND PRACTICE IN PADI COURSES

The theoretical part of the PADI course (eLearning) must be fully completed before the agreed start date of the practical sessions.

If the theoretical part has not been completed by the time the course is scheduled to begin, Diving and Adventure will be unable to commence the practical portion of the course.

In this case, the course will be considered as not started and no refund of the course fee will be issued.

CERTIFICATION (DIVING LICENCE)

The issuance of a PADI diving certification requires the participant to have successfully completed all prescribed theoretical and practical exercises in accordance with the applicable PADI standards.

As a PADI-certified dive centre, Diving and Adventure is obliged to uphold these standards and reserves the right to withhold certification if exercises have not been carried out to the required quality or completeness.

No refund of course fees will be issued in such cases.

CANCELLATIONS BY DIVING AND ADVENTURE

100% refund of the total value.

CANCELLATIONS DUE TO BAD WEATHER (1)

100% refund of the total value.

(1) Bad weather is defined as conditions that prevent the safe conduct of the activity. Cloudy skies or rain alone do not constitute bad weather. Regarding sea conditions, bad weather is defined as Beaufort force 3 or above at the dive site, or Beaufort force 6 or above during the boat transfer.
